Young Farmers is a member-lead organisation. All decisions are made during committee meetings, which members are very much encouraged to get involved in - the more you put in, the more you get out!
All club members are encouraged to put forward ideas for the club programme, and a nominated few are tasked with the responsibility for organising it. Each club elects officers who have overall responsibility for their Young Farmers’ Club. Roles include chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer, programme secretary and club leaders.
There are also committees at county level: Social, Management, Sports, Agri, Competitions and Bath & West. These are responsible for organising competitions and events at County level for all members to take part in and enjoy.
In addition, there is a dedicated team of adult staff and volunteers who support the YFC’s activities.
